Question 1 of 4

What type of cleaning do you need?

A deep clean is the full reset for your home. We hand-wipe the baseboards. We clean inside the oven and the fridge. We scrub grout lines and detail the blinds and tracks. We dust fans and vents. It is the slow, close work that a normal visit has no time for.

In Apopka, a deep clean also takes on the water. Well water leaves orange rings and white crust that plain sprays can not move. We treat those stains with the right cleaner and give it time to work. Most clients book one deep clean to reset the home, then keep it up with standard visits.

What is included

Room by room

Kitchen. This is where a deep clean earns its name. We clean inside the oven and the fridge, shelves and all. We degrease the stove top and the hood. Cabinet fronts and handles get wiped, since hands leave grease there. The sink is scrubbed, and mineral crust at the tap is treated. Counters are cleared, wiped, and set back in order.

Bathrooms. We scrub grout lines in the shower and tub. Mildew spots get treated, not just wiped. Glass doors are de-scaled, so the white film from well water fades. Taps and fixtures are polished. We wipe the baseboards, the fan cover, and the tops of the lights — spots a quick clean never reaches.

Bedrooms. We move light chairs and bins to vacuum the edges and under the bed. Baseboards are hand-wiped. Blinds are dusted slat by slat. Closet floors get vacuumed. Fans and vents lose the gray coat of dust they collect here in pollen season.

Living areas. We dust high and low: tops of shelves, fans, vents, and the trim over doors. We vacuum under sofas and chairs where we can lift or reach. Sliders and their tracks get scrubbed — Apopka grit grinds into those tracks all year. Glass is cleaned in and out where we can reach it.

Floors throughout. Tile is the norm here, and tile shows dirt in the grout first. We scrub the worst grout lines, mop with clean water in small zones, and dry as we go. Wood and laminate get a gentle mop with the right cleaner, never a soak.

Products and tools we use

Deep work needs the right goods. We bring a mineral cleaner for well-water crust, a degreaser for the kitchen, a mildew treatment for baths, and a grout scrub with stiff hand brushes. Detail work is mostly hand work. Machines can not feel a sticky spot or a rough grout line the way a hand can.

We also bring a HEPA vacuum for the fine dust that lives on fans and vents. Ladders and step stools come with us, so high spots are safe to reach. If a stain needs a strong product, we tell you first and test a small spot. No strong smells are left behind when we go.

Our process

Six steps, the same on each visit, so you know just what to expect.

  1. Tell us the state of the home. Send the form. Tell us the size of the home and what has built up: stains, mildew, grease, dust. Photos help us scope the job right.
  2. Get one written price. Deep cleans take two to three times a standard visit, so the quote matters. We give one clear price in writing before we start. No hourly clock runs while we work.
  3. Prep the home. We ask you to clear counters and pick up loose items the night before. The less clutter, the more time we spend on detail, not on moving things.
  4. We work room by room. We start at the top — fans, vents, blinds — and work down to the floors. One room is done in full before we move on. That way nothing gets half done.
  5. We treat the problem spots. Mineral crust, mildew, and grease get their own cleaners and their own time. Some spots need two passes. We tell you plain if a stain is etched in and can not fully lift.
  6. Final walk-through. We walk the home with the list in hand and check each room. If you are home, we walk it with you. Missed spots get fixed on the spot.

Well water changes the deep clean

Much of Apopka runs on well water. Iron and minerals in that water stain all they touch: orange rings in toilets, white crust on taps, spots on shower glass. Plain sprays barely dent it. Our deep clean uses the right cleaner for mineral stains and gives it time to sit and work before we scrub.

Clients are often stunned by the change. Taps they thought were worn out shine again. Glass they thought was fogged for good comes clear. Not all stains lift — years of buildup can etch glass and glaze. We tell you up front what we expect, and we do not charge a deep-clean price for a stain we can not move.

A note on prices: each home is priced on its size, its state, and how often we come. Every project is different — contact us for a free written estimate. The price we write down before the visit is the price you pay.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you really remove well-water stains?

Most of the time, yes, to a large degree. Mineral stains respond to the right cleaner and to dwell time — the cleaner sits, softens the crust, and then we scrub. Glass or glaze etched by years of buildup may keep a faint mark. We tell you what to expect before we start, in plain terms.

How often should an Apopka home get a deep clean?

Once or twice a year works for most homes, with standard visits in between. Well-water homes lean to twice a year, since minerals never stop building. Homes with pets or with kids often add a spring deep clean after pollen season. We can set the rhythm with you and adjust it as the home needs.

How long does a deep clean take?

Plan on most of a day for a large home, and half a day for a small one. Deep work is slow work: grout, blinds, and inside appliances can not be rushed. We quote the time with the price. If the home needs more than we scoped, we message you before we change a thing.

Do I need to be home during a deep clean?

No. Most clients head out and let the team work in peace. Deep cleans are loud at times, with vacuums and scrub work in each room. Leave a key or a code, and we lock up when we are done. If you stay, we work around you and keep one room free for you at all times.

Should I tidy before the team comes?

A quick pick-up helps a lot. Clear the counters, the tub edge, and the floors of loose items. We can then spend our time on scrubbing and detail, not on moving piles from room to room. Closets and drawers are yours to sort. We clean the rooms as we find them once the loose items are up.

What comes after a deep clean?

Most clients move to standard visits each two weeks. The deep clean resets the home, and the standard visits hold the line. Stains and mildew get caught while they are light. That rhythm costs less over a year than a deep clean each few months, and the home stays guest-ready the whole time.
