Question 1 of 4

What type of cleaning do you need?

A standard clean is the visit that keeps your home clean week to week. We dust each room. We vacuum the rugs and carpets. We mop tile and wood floors. We wipe the kitchen down and scrub the baths. The work is not deep work. It is steady work, done on a set plan, so dirt never gets a head start.

Most homes in Apopka do best with a visit each two weeks. The air here is wet for much of the year, and dust and pollen build up fast. Well water leaves stains if it sits too long. A two-week rhythm stays ahead of all three. Your home stays clean, and no visit turns into a big job.

What is included

Room by room

Kitchen. We wipe the counters and the fronts of the fridge, stove, and dishwasher. We scrub the sink and shine the tap. We clean the stove top and the inside of the microwave. Crumbs and grease spots go. The floor is swept and mopped last, so it stays clean when we walk out.

Bathrooms. We scrub the toilet, tub, and shower. We wipe the sink, mirror, and taps. Well water can leave a white crust or an orange ring. We wipe those spots while they are still light. The floor is swept and mopped, and the trash goes out with us.

Bedrooms. We dust shelves, lamps, and night stands. We vacuum the floors, and under the bed where we can reach. If you leave clean sheets out, we make the beds with them. Mirrors get a wipe, and bins are emptied and lined.

Living areas. We dust shelves, tables, and TV stands. We vacuum rugs and soft chairs. We mop hard floors and wipe the glass on doors. Fans at reach height get dusted. Spots near the front door get extra care, since that is where sand and grit come in.

Entry and halls. The entry sets the tone for the whole home. We shake out the mats and sweep up grit and sand. We wipe the door glass. Halls get dusted, then vacuumed or mopped. Switches and handles get a wipe in each room. They are the spots hands touch most.

Products and tools we use

We bring all of our own tools and cleaning goods. That means a vacuum with a HEPA filter, flat mops, microfiber cloths, and a caddy of sprays and scrubs. A HEPA filter traps fine dust and pollen, so less of it settles back on your shelves. Microfiber picks up dust with less spray, and it leaves no lint behind.

For most rooms we use a mild all-purpose cleaner, a glass cleaner, and a bath scrub. On well-water stains we use a mineral cleaner made for that job. It needs a few minutes to sit and work. If you want us to use your own goods, set them out and tell us. We are glad to use what you like.

Our process

Six steps, the same on each visit, so you know just what to expect.

  1. Book the visit. Send the form. Tell us the size of your home and the kind of clean you need. We give you one clear price in writing. The quote costs nothing.
  2. Pick your day. We set a day and a time window that fits your week. Most homes take a set slot each two weeks, so the visit is easy to plan around.
  3. We arrive with all gear. Our team comes with tools, cloths, and cleaning goods. You do not need to buy or store a thing for us.
  4. We clean top to bottom. We start high, with dusting, and end with the floors. Each room gets the full list, in the same order each time. Nothing is skipped.
  5. We check the wet spots. Before we leave, we look at the baths and the kitchen sink for early stains or mildew. We wipe what we find. We note what may need a deep clean down the road.
  6. You check our work. Walk through when you get home. If a spot is not right, tell us within a day. We come back and fix it at no charge.

The Apopka standard difference

Two things set a standard clean apart in Apopka: the water and the air. Well water drops a bit of mineral on taps and glass each day. Left alone, it hardens into crust. A wipe each two weeks keeps it soft and easy to clear. The clean you book now saves you a stain job later.

The air here is wet, and wet air grows mildew in baths and on grout lines. We check those spots on each visit. A light wipe now stops the black spots that need hard scrubbing later. It is standard care, done with Apopka in mind.

A note on prices: each home is priced on its size, its state, and how often we come. Every project is different — contact us for a free written estimate. The price we write down before the visit is the price you pay.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a standard clean take?

A three-bed Apopka home takes our team about two to three hours. Homes with pets or with well-water stains can take a bit more. The first visit runs long, since we learn the home. After that, the time stays steady. We quote the time and the price up front, so there are no shocks.

Can I book a standard clean just once?

Yes. One-time standard cleans are a common booking before a party, after guests leave, or when life gets busy. There is no need to sign up for repeat visits. If you like the work, you can set a rhythm later. If not, the one visit still leaves your home fresh and clean.

What is not included in a standard clean?

Inside the oven and the fridge, inside cabinets, and heavy detail work are not part of a standard visit. Laundry is also an add-on. Those jobs sit with deep cleaning or with our add-on list. We draw the line in plain words before we start, so you know just what the visit covers.

Do you clean lanais?

Yes, as an add-on. A lanai tidy means we sweep the floor, wipe the outdoor chairs and tables, and clear cobwebs from the screen frame. Pool decks and full screen scrubs are quoted on their own. Lanais in Apopka fill with pollen in spring, so many clients add this in March and April.

Do I need to be home for the visit?

No. Most of our clients are at work or out for the day. You can leave a key or a door code with us. We lock up when we leave and send a note that the clean is done. If you would rather be home, that is fine too. We work around you.

What if a spot is not right after you leave?

Tell us within a day and we come back and fix it at no charge. We would rather hear about a missed spot than have you live with it. Most of the time it is a small thing, like a shelf or a mirror. We fix it fast and note it for the next visit.
